The digital revolution necessitates integrating data and ways to improve a company's basic business operations to efficiently meet customer expectations. The entire academic fraternity is the target consumer in the educational sector. Digitalization in education is directly linked to a new way of doing things in a digital environment around the world, as well as the development of millennials who were born and taught in that milieu. This present study delves into the unique characteristics of digital education, as well as the current level of its implementation, expected outcomes, and related problems, hence a transformation study has demonstrated the fundamentals of e-education with its implementation in modern society. The study has critically evaluated the benefits and challenges with reference to current transformation and the effectiveness of this kind of teaching-learning process.
