Bentham Science strives to promote excellence by publishing cutting-edge and insightful research in important new and emerging fields and making this new knowledge generated by world experts globally accessible.

History

Founded in 1992, Bentham Science Publishers started scientific publications initially with two journals, Current Medicinal Chemistry and Protein and Peptide Letters. Bentham gradually expanded its operations with new journals in science, technology, and medicine to provide academic researchers and industrial professionals with the latest high-quality research information regarding important and emerging fields in science and technology. The organization has now grown into a multinational company with employees in the UAE, USA, Netherlands, Spain, India, and China. We also outsource our publishing services to several countries, including the USA, UK, India, China, and Pakistan.

Bentham Science currently publishes more than 130 subscription/ hybrid journals, in both electronic and print formats, and 38 Open Access journals. We have also published over 1000 books. Our journals and ebooks cover various disciplines in pharmaceutical research, engineering, technology, and social sciences. Bentham Science became a member of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) in 2014. Our journals are indexed by recognized indexing agencies.
