Quinones are a distinct group in chemistry, having a wide range of chemical
and biological properties. These are extensively cast off as traditional medicines, such
as anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, etc. Plants such as Henna, Rhubarb, and
Aloe vera possess quinones as active ingredients, which developed diverse medicinal
possessions. Traditional uses and nutraceutical ethics have been enriched owing to the
molecule. The biological application of quinones is discussed.
