Aims & Scope
Current Bioinformatics aims to
publish all the latest and outstanding developments in bioinformatics. Each
issue contains a series of timely, in-depth/mini-reviews, research papers, and guest-edited thematic issues
written by leaders in the field, covering a wide range of the integration of
biology with computer and information science.
The
journal focuses on advances in computational molecular biology, encompassing
niche areas, such as
DNA/RNA/protein sequence alignment and prediction, gene and multi-source heterogeneous network reconstruction, 3D
genome, and spatial transcriptomics computation. These
techniques involve artificial intelligence and
algorithms to address problems related to molecules.
Developments
in these fields directly affect key issues related to molecular biology,
medicine, the development
of agricultural products, environmental protection, etc.
Current Bioinformatics is
an international, peer-reviewed journal on all aspects of
bioinformatics, published monthly (print &
online) by Bentham Science Publishers.
