Professor Ir. Ts. Dr. Pau Loke Show is the Full Professor of Biochemical Engineering at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He has been the former President and Founder of International Bioprocessing Society based in Malaysia. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Show obtained Ph.D. from Universiti Putra Malaysia. He is currently a Professional Engineer (PEng) registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), Chartered Engineer of the Engineering Council UK (CEng), Corporate Member of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (MIEM), and Professional Technologist (PTech) registered with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT). Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Show obtained the Post Graduate Certificate of Higher Education (PGCHE) in 2014 and is now a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) UK. He received a number of awards, such as Malaysia Young Scientist Award, The DaSilva Award, etc. He has supervised many PhD and MSc students. He has published many journal papers in less than 10 years of his career. His current h-index is 75. He is Editor-in-Chief in Current Nutrition & Food Science, Review Editor-in-Chief in Molecular Biotechnology, Deputy Editor-in-Chief in Bioengineered, Editor in Scientific Report, Associate Editor at The Open Microalgae Biotechnology. etc. Prof. Ir. Francesco Puoci is an Associate Professor of Polymers and Biomaterials of pharmaceutical interest in the Department of Pharmacy, Health and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Calabria, Italy. He has professional expertise in the area of functional food and nutraceuticals. His research activities include the development and characterization of bioactive food ingredients and novel approaches for their stabilization and preservation. Dr. Kit Wayne Chew is a Lecturer at the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, Xiamen University Malaysia, Malaysia. He is also the Research Leader for the Algal Technology Research Group at XMUM. His research interests include sustainable processes, renewable energy, algae technology, bioprocess design, and waste management. He was awarded the Global Young Researcher award for IChemE in 2020 and the Rising Star Award for the Young Scientist Network. Dr. Letizia Giampietro completed his Degree in Pharmacy in 2000 and received her Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry in 2003 from “Università G. d’Annunzio”, Chieti, Italy. As of 2006, she is an Assistant Professor and teacher in Pharmaceutical Analysis. She obtained the "National Academic Qualification as Associate Professor". She is responsible for a medicinal chemistry synthesis laboratory, and she is the supervisor of undergraduates and Ph.D. students. She has experience in medicinal chemistry, and her research above all focuses on the design, synthesis, and biological evaluation of small molecules active on PPARs and as inhibitors of NOS and aromatase. Lately, her research has been directed towards the synthesis of neuroprotective, antioxidant, and anticancer compounds.

Dr Camiña is Professor of Chemometrics and Adjunct Researcher at the National Council of Scientific and Technical Researches in Argentina. He completed his PhD in Chemistry and Master in Analytical Chemistry at the National University of San Luis, Argentina. He has published 36 scientific works and two chapters of books. He is director of four research programs in chemometrics and food analysis in Argentina, as well as director of doctoral theses and fellows. In 2013 he has been awarded in 2013 with the XIII Edition of Agricultural Excellence Prize (Argentina).
Dr. Giuseppe Maurizio Campo followed doctoral Degree Courses in Biological Sciences from the University' of Messina during 1987 to 1998, and he attended the Institute of Pharmacology, School of Medicine at the University' of Messina. In the years 1990-1992, he worked as scientific adviser of the FIDIA Research Laboratories of Abano Terme and the Cifa-gesco Consortium of Rome for the study and development of new drugs. In 1992, he obtained the Specialization Degree in "Biochemistry and Clinical Chemistry" from the University' of. Messina. In 1994, he got the PhD in "Experimental Medicine", from the University' of Messina. Since December 1998, Dr. Campo is an Aggregate Professor of Biochemistry at the Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine, School of Medicine, University of Messina. In June 2014, he became the full Professor of General Biochemistry.
Francesco Caridi did his M.Sc. in Physics from the Messina University, Italy. He received a Ph.D. in Physics from the Messina University, with an excellent final assessment in 2007. He was a research assistant in the Department of Physics at Messina University from 2007 to 2008. Then, he served as an Expert Physicist at the Science Faculty and at the Department of Physics of the Messina University from 2008 to 2014. Since 2014, he is a Ph.D. researcher at the Agency for Environmental Protection of Calabria, Italy. From the Academic Year 2018-2019, he is an Adjunct Professor of Applied Physics at the University of Messina. His research interests include lasers; laser-matter interaction; plasma production, diagnostics, and applications; environmental radioactivity; gamma-spectrometry; liquid scintillation; emanometry; applied physics to cultural heritage, environment, biology, and medicine.
Dr. Nizami Duran, Ph.D., underwent his doctoral training in the Department of Microbiology & Clinical Microbiology at Çukurova University Medical School, Adana, Turkey. Dr. Duran is currently working as the Chief of Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology Department at Mustafa Kemal University, Antakya, Turkey. His department pursues research mainly in the following areas/fields: bacteriology, immunology, virology, serology and microbial genetics. Dr. Ashok Patel is associate professor at Guangdong Technion Israel Institute of Technology. His past and current research is focused on using food-grade ingredients to create novel structured systems including oleogels, foams, colloidal particles and complex emulsions to solve formulation issues in food product development. Harry Preuss, M.D., MACN, CNS is a Professor of Biochemistry, Physiology, Medicine and Pathology, Georgetown University, Medical Center, Washington, DC, USA. He has been the past president of the American College of Nutrition (ACN) (three times), past president of the Certification Board for Nutrition Specialists (1998-2005), Ninth Master (MACN). He did a 7 years post graduate training from the Vanderbilt, Cornell and Georgetown Medical in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, and Research from the Cornell University Medical School. He further did research training from the NIH in molecular biology. He received a number of awards such as James Lind Award for excellence in nutrition research on dietary supplements, William B. Fereidoon Shahidi is working as University Research Professor in the Department of Biochemistry Memorial University of Newfoundland St. John's, NL, Canada. In 1977, he did Ph.D. in Physical Organic Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, McGill University, Montréal, Canada. From 2014-2016, he has been the Councillor of International Academy of Food Science and Technology, from 2014 onwards he is serving as Visiting Professor, Dalian Technical University, Dalian, China. From 1978-1984, he also served as Research Associate/Lecturer of Chemistry and Food Engineering in the Departments of Chemistry as well as Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry, University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada. He received a number of awards such as American Oil Chemists' Society, Millipore Sigma/ Nicholas Pelick AOCS Research Award in 2017, International Life Science Institute, North America (ISLI North America) and Institute of Food Technologists; Babcock-Hart Award in 2014 etc. He has been a member of a number of scholarly societies, such as from 2014-2018 he served as a member of the International Academy of Food Science and Technology etc. He is the Editor of the journal Food Chemistry and editorial board member of a number of journals such as Journal of Food Science, International Journal of Food Properties, Nutraceuticals and Food Current Nutrition and Food Science Inform. Dr. Shahidi's work in these and other areas has led to the publication of nearly 800 research articles in the form of peer reviewed journals, book chapters and patents. He is also the editor/author of some 64 books and 9 others in process. He has trained over 50 PhD and MSc students and more than 50 research associates, post-doctoral fellows and assistants as well as visiting professors and scholars and educated the future generation of scientists.

Dr. Tang obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Food Science from South China University of Technology, China, and a Master in Food Engineering from Wuxi University of Light Industry (Jiangnan University now), China. Dr. Prasad S. Variyar obtained PhD in chemistry from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. He currently holds the position of Scientific Officer (H) and Head, Food Flavor and Aroma Chemistry Section at the Food Technology Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, India and is also an adjunct professor at the Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai. He has authored over 150 publications three patents and has transferred three technologies to industry. He has been a reviewer for several international food science and food chemistry journals. Dr. Prasant Kumar Jena received his BSc in Biological Sciences and MSc in Biotechnology from Berhampur University. Later, he obtained a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Nirma University (India).
