Nanomaterials

Publishes original research articles, letters, reviews/mini-reviews, and guest-edited thematic issues in all areas of nanomaterials.

The Nanomaterials section of the journal Current Chinese Science publishes original research articles, letters, reviews/mini-reviews, and guest-edited thematic issues in all areas of nanomaterials.

This section is not limited to a specific aspect of the field but is instead devoted to a wide range of sub-fields in the area. Articles of a multidisciplinary nature are particularly welcome. Submissions in the following nanomaterials areas are of special interest to the readers of this journal:

• Adhesion of nanostructures.
• Anti-adhesion on nanostructured surfaces.
• Anticorrosive performance of nanomaterials.
• Anti-reflection of nanostructured materials.
• Bioinspired, biomimetic, or bionic nanostructures, surfaces, and materials.
• Bubble transport on nanostructured surfaces.
• Coatings for anti-fogging, water-proof, anti-fingerprint, art-protecting, anti-icing, anticorrosive, self-cleaning, etc.
• Drag reduction via the design of nanostructures on surfaces.
• Droplet manipulation on nanostructured surfaces.
• Fog harvesting and atmosphere water harvesting or capturing of materials.
• Functions of nanomaterials, including electric, magnetic, optical, thermal properties, etc.
• Liquid controlling on nanochannel or microchannel.
• Methods used in the fabrication and design of nanostructures of different dimensions, including nanoparticles, nanofibers, nanowires, nanopores, etc.
• Solar-driven nanostructured materials for energy harvesting and fluid behavior.
• Surfaces with nanostructures for functions including wettability, gradient tension, energy, droplet transport, superhydrophobicity, antiicing, etc.
• Water repellency on nanopatterned surfaces.
