Journal
Law

Publishes original research articles, letters, reviews/mini- reviews and guest edited thematic issues on various topics related to law.
The section Law of the journal Current Social Sciences publishes original research articles, letters, case reports, discussions, reviews/mini-reviews, and guest-edited thematic issues on various topics as to constitute a unique, transdisciplinary forum for the discussion of how legal issues impact the general public, in terms of their personal interactions, economy, and social effects. Of particular interest are the ethical reflections that law practice must follow, not only to restrain the misbehavior from citizens but also to prevent abuses and widening of the gaps among different social sectors.

This section is not limited to a specific aspect of the field but instead is devoted to a wide range of sub-fields. Articles of interdisciplinary nature are particularly welcome. Submissions in the following areas are of special interest to the readers of this journal:

• Analysis of gender issues in law initiatives
• Emerging social problems not contemplated by existing law
• Ethical and bioethical aspects of relevant social problems related to legal issues
• Innovative approaches to deal with misconduct and emerging crime areas (cyber fraud, cyberbullying, etc.)
• Legal aspects of S+T+I (intellectual property, free access journals, etc.)
• Prospective analysis of social consequences of the unequal access to opportunities and how law can address them
• The social and legal effects of novel technologies (AI, IoT, nano, genomics, etc.)
• Transdisciplinary approaches to social challenges that can be addressed by law
