The section named Sociology of the journal Current Social Sciences publishes original research articles, letters, reviews/mini-reviews, and guest-edited thematic issues on various topics related to Sociology as a scientific field that aims to explain social processes through other social dynamics.
This section is not limited to a specific aspect of the field but is, instead, devoted to a wide range of sub-fields in the area, seeking through sociological research, to develop knowledge on the interactions and power relationships that shape social and cultural life and societies themselves - at the micro, meso and macrosocial levels. Articles of interdisciplinary nature are particularly welcome. Basic theoretical developments, applications, case studies, novel approaches and processes, and empirical research are among the topics covered in the papers.
