Prof. Manoj B. Gawande (FRSC, UK) received his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry in 2008 from the Department of Chemistry, Institute of Chemical Technology, (Formerly UDCT) Matunga, Mumbai, India, under the supervision of Prof. R.V. Jayaram. Presently, he is working as an Associate Professor and Head of nanocatalysis research group at Regional Centre of Advanced Technologies and Materials, Palacky University, Olomouc, Czech Republic. He has published over 100 scientific publications, including reviews patents, papers, editorial and commentary articles. Prof. Gawande is a Guest editor of several leading journals including RSC Advances (RSC Publications), and Current Organic Chemistry (Bentham publications). He is an Associate Editor for Current Catalysis and Regional Editor for Current Organic Synthesis (Bentham Publications).




Professor Ganapati D. Yadav is the Vice Chancellor and R.T. Mody Distinguished Professor of the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai. He is J.C. Bose National Fellow and Adjunct Professor at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia and University of Saskatchewan, Canada. His noteworthy recognitions include: Fellow Royal Society of Chemistry, UK and Institute Chemical Engineers UK, Canadian Catalysis Foundation’s Cross-Canada Lectureship, John van Geuns Lectureship, Amsterdam University; Park Reilly Distinguished Speakership, Waterloo University; Visiting Professorship, Lunghwa University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. He is elected Chairman of Asia Pacific Conference on Catalysis and is on governing council of APCAT, the confederation of catalysis societies from Asia Pacific region.







Dr. Benjaram Mahipal Reddy did his PhD (1986) at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, where he holds a Chief Scientist and Head of Inorganic & Physical Chemistry Division position. He has been a visiting scientist or an award fellow at various institutes and universities in USA, Russia, Germany, France, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Switzerland. So far, he has guided 35 PhD and 50 M Sc/M Tech/B Tech students for their degrees. He has more than 280 research publications (h-index 48) in high impact journals and holds 8 patents to his credit. He has been serving as an editorial board member for Journal of CO2 Utilization (Elsevier), Applied Petrochemical Research (Springer) and Current Physical Chemistry (Bentham Science), regional editor for Current Catalysis (Bentham Science), and guest editor for Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research (ACS) and Catalysis Today (Elsevier).








Dr. Likai Du received his undergraduate education in Shandong University, China. After that, he continued his Doctor's degree in Shandong University. Later, Dr. Du worked as an assistant/associate professor in Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology Chinese Academy of Sciences. Then, he works as an associate professor in Huazhong Agricultural University. He has published more than 40 scientific papers in highly reputed journals. He also works as the Co-Founder of the Qingdao Xiazkey Information Technology Company.




Rupesh Gedam is a professor of Physics at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT),Nagpur - India. Following M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physics from VNIT Nagpur, he joined as a Lecturer in VNIT Nagpur in 1998. He served as Head of the Physics department of VNIT. His research focuses on development of materials for water treatment, LEDs and optical filters. He is currently working on glasses embedded with semiconductor quantum dots(QDs). He also studied the antibacterial activity of glasses embedded with semiconductor quantum dots. He also develops nanomaterials for water treatment and LEDs.



Dr. Haixin Guo earned her Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental studies from the Tohoku University. She is working in the production of biodiesel and functional biocarbon using the green chemical process. Since 2018, she has been an assistant professor at Tohoku University. Since 2021, she has been working as Senior Researcher at Agro-Environmental Protection Institute, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Dr. Guo's scientific research interests are focused on the hydrothermal/solvothermal/mechanochemical treatment of raw biomass into valuable chemicals and fuels.




Dr. Dmitry Murzin is Borgstrom Professor of Chemical Technology at Abo Akademi University in Turku, Finland since 2000. Previously, he was working at Karpov Institute of Physical Chemistry, Moscow, Russia; Universite Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, France and BASF, Ludwigshafen and Moscow. From 2009-2013 Prof. Murzin served as Vice President of the European Federation of Catalysis Societies. He is author or co-author of more than 650 journal articles and book chapters on kinetics and catalysis.




Dr. Putla Sudarsanam is a Scientist at Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry Division, CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR-NCL), Pune, India. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry (2015) from CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, India. Prior to joining at CSIR-NCL, he worked as a senior research fellow at KU Leuven (Belgium, 2017-2019), Leibniz Institute for Catalysis (Germany, 2017) and RMIT University (Melbourne, 2014–2016). His research focuses on developing novel heterogeneous nano-sized and single-atom catalysts for CO2 upgrading, biomass valorization, and Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. He has been honoured for his contributions with several prestigious national/international awards/fellowships, including Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship-2017 (Belgium), Leibniz-DAAD Postdoc Fellowship-2016 (Germany), Best PhD Thesis Award-2015 (The Catalysis Society of India), EuropaCat PhD Student Award-2013 (XIth European Congress on Catalysis, France), and Endeavour Research Fellowship-2013 (Australia). He edited 2 books with ACS and Elsevier publishers and published 3 book chapters and 57 peer-reviewed articles in high impact international journals with h-index of 31 and more than 2200 citations.




Min Wang is currently a Professor at the Research Institute of Process Equipment and Environmental Engineering, Northeastern University, China. Dr. Wang received B.S. (1997), M.S. (2001), PhD (2009) in environmental engineering from Chongqing University, China. Professor Wang holds 10 Chinese patents, and has published 1 book and 42 papers in peer-reviewed, SCI-indexed international journals, with h-index of 22. Her research interests include advanced oxidation processes, water treatment and groundwater remediation, green catalysis, advanced oxidation technologies, functional materials, nanotechnology, and photocatalysis.




Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Abu-Dief Mohammed, Assistant professor of Inorganic and Physical Chemistry at Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science, Sohag University, Sohag, Egypt and Post doctor, Faculty of Chemistry, Oviedo University, Spain, 2015. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Abu-Dief publishes more than 70 articles in international journals, 7 books and participates in more than 60 workshops and international conferences with h- index 20. Moreover, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Abu-Dief works as a reviewer in 102 international journals and member of editorial board in more than 25 journals.




Dr. Bahaa Abu-Zied studied Chemistry at Assiut University (Egypt) from 1985 to 1989. In 1994, he received his Master degree in Surface Chemistry and Catalysis from the same university. After obtaining his Ph.D. from Assiut University in 1997, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science, Assiut University. In the same year, he joined the 33rd International Seminar at the University of Karlsruhe (Germany) for 16 months. During that period, he joined the group of Prof. Thomas Turek at the “Institute für Chemische Verfahrenstechnik” at the same University. In 2004, he was promoted as an Associate Professor and in 2010 as a full Professor at Assiut University. During the period 2002-2011, he joined the research group of Prof. Wilhelm Schwieger at the “Institute für Chemische Reaktionstechnik” Friedrich-Alexander-University, Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany) for a short research visits (3-6 months).



Dr. Ananda S. Amarasekara is a professor of Chemistry at Prairie View A&M University in Texas, where he has been a faculty member since 2003. He received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from City University of New York. The current research interest of his group is to develop Acidic Ionic liquid based chemo-catalytic methods for the processing of biomass to renewable fuels and feedstock chemicals. He is the author of the book "Handbook of Cellulosic Ethanol" and has published more than 100 peer reviewed research articles.




Dr. Gopinathan Anilkumar received his Ph.D. in 1996 from Regional Research Laboratory-CSIR, Trivandrum with Dr. Vijay Nair. He did his postdoctoral studies at the University of Nijmegen, The Netherlands, Osaka University, Japan, Temple University, USA, and Leibniz-Institüt für Katalyse (LIKAT), Rostock, Germany. Currently, he is a Professor in Organic Chemistry at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India. His research interest focuses on organic synthesis, heterocycles, and catalysis. He has published more than 85 papers and 7 patents. He has received “Dr. S Vasudev Award” from Govt. of Kerala, India for best research in 2016.




Dr. Hamidreza Arandiyan obtained his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Junhua Li in the School of Environment at Tsinghua University in 2014. Afterwards, he worked in the laboratory of Prof. Hongxing Dai at the Beijing University of Technology. He is presently a Vice-Chancellor’s Research Fellow under the supervision of Scientia Prof. Rose Amal in the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of New South Wales. His research interests are in synthesizing unique macroporous materials and heterogeneous catalysis for environment-related applications.




Dr. Kirtikumar C. Badgujar is working as an Assistant Professor in, SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Sion, Mumbai, India. He has completed his M.Sc. degree from North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon in 2008; where he secured University Rank FIRST and GOLD-MEDAL. He has completed his Ph.D. Research Studies from the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT: Formerly UDCT), Mumbai, India in December 2015, under the guidance of Prof. B. M. Bhanage. He secured several Prestigious Awards during his Ph.D. research studies such as Young Scientist Award and Best Ph.D. Research Thesis Award etc. Till time in his research studies, he has published Twenty Eight Peer Reviewed Research Articles (in International Reputed Journals) including High Impact Reviews and Reference Book-Chapter. He has Five Granted and Two Filed Indian patents in his credit. His research interest includes Enzymology, Biochemistry, Green chemistry, Enzyme-stability, Biocatalysis, Drug chemistry, Medicinal chemistry, Biomaterials and Biomass valorisation etc.








Dr. Bahamonde has expertise in environmental catalysis and environmental chemical engineering. At the beginning of her career she was involved in the development of the design of catalysts and monolithic reactors for Selective Catalytic Reduction of NOx. Nowadays, her main research lines are focused on the development of heterogeneous catalytic advanced oxidation process (AOPs) for wastewater treatments to remove aromatic pollutants, such as heterogeneous photocatalysis based on titania materials and solar light. More recently, new studies on photoactive building materials and photo-cements based on titania for air pollution control have also been carried out.



Dr. George Bollas is an Associate Professor with the Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Department and the Director of the United Technologies Corporation Institute of Advanced Systems Engineering at the University of Connecticut. Prior to joining UConn, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and before that he received his B.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. His interdisciplinary research merges the fields of energy and systems engineering.




Dr. Brahmachari presently holds the position of full Professor of Chemistry at Visva-Bharati (a Central University), India. He received Ph.D. (Organic Chemistry) in 1997 from the same University and joined his alma mater as Assistant Professor in 1998. He has about 18 years of experience in both teaching and research at the University level. He has supervised several PhD students so far, and produced nearly 160 scientific publications including original research papers, review articles, books and invited book chapters in the fields of natural products and green chemistry. He has authored/edited 17 books and more than 30 book chapters so far published by internationally reputed major presses including Elsevier, Academic Press, Wiley-VCH, CRC Press/Taylor & Francis Group, Royal Society of Chemistry, World Scientific Publishing Co., Alpha Science International (Oxford), Narosa Publishing House, etc. He is the Series Editor of the Elsevier Book Series ‘Natural Product Drug Discovery’, and Editor-in-Chief of Signpost Open Access journal of Organic & Bio molecular Chemistry (ISBN: 2321-4163). Prof. Brahmachari is a Who’s Who in the World-2015 & 2016 Listee, and also a recipient of Academic Brilliance Award-2015 (Excellence in Research).




Dr. Juan Antonio Cecilia Buenestado graduated in chemistry (2005). He received his M.Sc. degree in 2009 and Ph.D. in 2011. He is working on synthesis of porous materials, modification of clay minerals and their applications in the fields of adsorption in catalysis in the group “New Inorganic Materials” in the Inorganic Chemistry Department of the Málaga University (Spain). He has carried out several stays in Blacksburg (USA), Eindhoven (Netherlands), Fortaleza (Brazil), Genova (Italy) and Madrid (Spain). J.A. Cecilia authored over 65 papers and more than 100 communication to congress. J.A. Cecilia has also been involved in several national and international projects.




Dr. Federico Cesano was born in 1973 (Torino, Italy) and received his Degree in Chemistry in 1999 at the University of Torino. After two years, he spent at the Italian National Research Council (2000-2002), in 2005 he completed his Ph.D. in Material Science and Technology. Since 2006 is at the Department of Chemistry in the Physical Chemistry group in the same University. He is co-author of about 50 papers published in the main journals of Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Surface Science and Catalysis. 1D, 2D and 3D nanostructured materials, including oxides, carbon materials, their composites and properties are his main research interests.







Dr. Asoke P. Chattopadhyay did his M.Sc. in Chemistry from I.I.T., Kanpur in 1982 and Ph.D. in Chemistry from SUNY at Stony Brook (now Stony Brook University), Long Island, USA in 1988. He joined as a Lecturer in Chemistry at University of Kalyani in 1990, and has been a Professor since 2009. His research interests include theoretical chemistry, electronic structure calculations, modeling of surfaces and adsorption, coupled chemical reactions and nanomaterials, besides environmental issues e.g. water pollution. He teaches quantum chemistry and allied topics, and is also interested in, and teaches, topics in philosophy.



Dr. Da Chen received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University Lille 1: Sciences and Technologies, France. Currently, he is a Professor at the College of Harbor, Coastal and Offshore Engineering, Hohai University. He majored in the durability of offshore structures, especially in the reinforcement corrosion. He conducted research on the electrochemical characterization of anti-corrosion. Also, he designed an acceleration way to deteriorate the concrete and reinforcement in an electrical field. Besides, he paid attention to the concrete behavior in the marine environment, due to the combined effect of sulfate attack and dry-wetting cycles. He developed a chemical-damage-elastoplasticity model to describe the mechanical behavior of deteriorated concrete.



Dr. Jia-Rong Chen earned his Ph.D. from the Central China Normal University (CCNU) under the supervision of Professor Wen-Jing Xiao (2009). After holding a position at CCNU (2009-2010), he worked as a Humboldt postdoctoral fellow with Professor Carsten Bolm at the RWTH Aachen University (2011-2012). In 2012, he returned to CCNU and began his independent career as an Associate Professor. Chen’s interests include asymmetric catalysis and the photo catalytic radical chemistry.



Dr. Simona M. Coman graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of University of Bucharest (1992) and received Ph.D. (2001) in the same institution. After several research stages in KU Leuven, Belgium and two post-doctoral stages in Belgium (UC Louvain-la-Neuve) and Germany (HU Berlin – as research fellow of AvH Foundation) she became full Professor in the Department of Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry and Catalysis (2008) of the University of Bucharest. She co-authored over 100 scientific papers and 150 contributions delivered at international conferences. In 2012, she was awarded by Romanian Academy for important contributions in the development of solid catalysts for the environmental protection.




Dr. M.J. da Silva conclude his Bachelor Degree in Chemistry (1997), a Master's degree in Chemistry (2000) and D.S. in Chemistry at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, (2004). In 2006, he has pos-doc fellow junior, at that same university, and in 2013, at the School of Chemical Engineering, Purdue University, USA. My main expertise is Catalysis by heteropolyacids and metal-catalyzed transformations of biomass derivatives. I have working as Professor Associate (II) at Federal University of Viçosa, Chemistry Department, Brazil. I have been Productivity Scholarship (Level 2, CNPq), since 2009. Presently, I am adiviser of Pos-graduation Programs of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry.




Dr. Dai is the Head of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in the College of Environmental and Energy Engineering at Beijing University of Technology, China. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the fundamental research of heterogeneous catalysis and photocatalysis as well as nanoporous materials synthesis. Dr. Dai obtained his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Hong Kong Baptist University (2001), and was ever a postdoctoral fellow in the University of California at Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (2002~2003). Dr. Dai has authored or co-authored more than 200 internationally renowned journal articles (including above 10 review articles), 60 authorized patents, and 2 book chapters. Dr. Dai has served as an editorial board member, editor, co-Editor-in-Chief or Editor-in-Chief of more than 10 journals and as a reviewer of more than 100 journals.




Dr. Bashir is presently working as an Assistant Professor at Govt. Degree College boys Sopore Kashmir (india). Previously, he was a lecturer at University of Kashmir, North campus Baramulla Kashmir. He has also worked as Assistant Professor at Maulana Azad College Aurangabad MaharastraIndia, Senior Project Fellow IIIM Jammu, Senior Research Fellow IIIM Jammu, Junior Research Fellow IIIM Jammu, Junior Research Fellow (IICT Hyderabad), Lecturer (Maulana Azad College, Aurangabad Maharastra India) and Visiting Lecturer (Post Graduate Department of Chemistry, Vasantroa Nayak College, of Science Aurangabad Maharastra India. He has 10 years of experience in teaching and research collectively.




Dr. Surya K. De obtained his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Jadavpur University, Kolkata (Calcutta), India. He worked at the University of Washington, (Seattle), Purdue University, (West Lafayette, Indiana), The Scripps Research Institute, and Sanford-Burnham-Prebys Medical Discovery Institute in several drug discovery programs. He is an Editorial Broad member of The Open Organic Chemistry Journal, The Open Catalysis Journal, Current Catalysis, and Current Chemical Research. He is an author of more than 90 peer reviewed international journals and the inventor on several patents. He is an elected fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, London, UK (FRSC, 2010). He is a member of Indian Science Congress. He is an elected Alternate Councilor of the American Chemical Society, San Diego. His research interests are organic synthesis, catalysis, medicinal chemistry, and drug discovery.




Prof. Angela Dibenedet to received her degree in Biotechnologies in 1994. From 1995 to 1997 she has carried research activities within a European Project in collaboration with Lund University. In 2002 she was appointed Researcher at the University of Bari.She is Associate Professor of Inorganic Chemistry since 2006 at the University of Bari, Department of Chemistry (confirmed in 2009). She participated in the Enabling National Scientific, session 2012, CHIM03/B1 sector, resulting suited for the role of Professor rated 'excellent'. Rector's delegate for "Research and innovation in the field of bioenergy and materials derived from biomass".




Prof. Dr. Yuqiang Ding received his Ph.D. degree in 2002 from Georg-August-University Goettingen (Germany) where he finished his Diplom equivalent examination under the guidance of Professor Herbert W. Roesky. After his postdoctoral research in Max-Planck Institute of Coal Research with Professor Klaus Poerschke, he became a full professor of Jiangnan University (China) in 2004. His current research interests embrace the synthesis and application of organometallic complexes as catalysts and materials.



Dr. M. E. Domine completed his PhD at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain) in 2003 under the guidance of Prof. A. Corma, and postdoctoral studies at the IRCELYON - CNRS (France, 2005- 07). In 2008, he re-joined the Instituto de Tecnología Química (UPV-CSIC) of Valencia, Spain as Scientific Researcher of CSIC. His current research involves the synthesis and characterization of solid catalysts and their application in sustainable chemical processes for new biomass derivatives transformations into fuels and valuble chemicals. He is co-author of more than 60 publications (including patent applications). He has presented over 20 invited conferences around the world. He has acted as Guest Managing Editor of Catalysis Today, and also as Reviewer in many renowned scientific journals.



Diogo M.F. Santos graduated in chemical engineering at IST (ULisboa) in 2001. He received his MSc degree in 2006 and PhD in 2009. He is currently working on low cost electrocatalysts for direct borohydride fuel cells in the Center of Physics and Engineering of Advanced Materials (CeFEMA) with an Investigador FCT position. D.M.F. Santos has authored over 60 papers and 60 conference proceedings. He has presented 30 oral communications and over 40 posters in international conferences. Dr. Deepa Jadhavdumbre is a Women Scientist at the Chemical Engineering & Process Development Division, CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR-NCL), Pune, India. She obtained her Ph.D. degree from Heterogeneous Catalysis (CSIR-NCL, Pune India. Recently, she has received AAYSA for Women Category, from Australian Government (’20-2021 “Energy Sector”). Prior to joining CSIR-NCL, she received the most prestigious Endeavour Award for her research studies from DEEWR-Australian Government, and worked as a Senior Research fellow at CSIRO Clayton, RMIT University and Melbourne University, Australia). Her research focuses on developing novel heterogeneous nano-sized catalysts for carbon dioxide, utilization includes dry reforming process, Methanol/DME synthesis, and Hydrogen production, She has been honored for her contributions with several prestigious national/international awards/fellowships, including the most Prestigious Endeavour Award (Australian Government-2013), Best PhD Thesis Award-2013, AAYSA (Australian Government ‘20-2021). She is an active member of “The Catalysis Society of India”. She has published 3 book chapters and 45 peer-reviewed articles in high impact international journals with h-index of 19 and more than 2000 citations.




Professor Belal El-Gammal received his PhD degree in chemistry in 2001 from the depart of chemistry, Ain Shams University, Cairo Egypt, in Collaboration with Friedrich Schiller University, Germany. Presently, he is working as a professor and Head of chemistry department at University of Bisha, kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has published over 50 papers scientific publications and book chapters in different ISI journals. He is an editor in Desalination and Water Treatment, (Desalination Publications). Also, Belal El-Gammal is an editor in Colloid and Surface Science (Science Publishing Group).




Dr. Yu Fan received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemical engineering from Dalian University of Technology and Ph.D. degree from China University of Petroleum, Beijing. He joined China University of Petroleum, Beijing in 2005, and now he is a professor in chemical engineering. His research is focused on functional catalysis materials, catalysis conversion of hydrocarbons, molecular sieves based catalysts, catalysis and reaction engineering, advanced catalyst synthesis, catalysis for fuels and chemicals. He has published more than 80 scientific publications in peer reviewed journals.



Dr Fernandez-Lafuente obtained a doctorate in Biology sciences from UAM, Madrid, Spain in 1992. Currently, he is a Research Professor at ICP-CSIC, Madrid, Spain. He has published over 350 scientific papers in ISI Journals and is co-inventor of 20 patents, co-supervisor of 18 doctoral thesis and has a current H index of 61 (Scopus). He is member of the editorial team of more than 2 dozens journals (e.g., AAI, PRBI; EMT, JB, JMCB:B; Molecules).















Professor Aziz Habibi-Yangjeh received his PhD degree in physical chemistry from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2001. He is currently a full professor of Physical Chemistry at the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili. His research interests include preparation of different visible-light-driven photocatalysts based on zinc oxide (ZnO), titanium dioxide (TiO2), and graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4). He has published more than 120 international refereed journal papers. Moreover, he is reviewer in his area of research for several international journals.




Dr. Naceur HAMDI currently holds the position of Professor of Chemistry at the University of Carthage in Tunisia. He has more than 15 years of working experience in the field of organic and organometallic chemistry, homogeneous catalysis. His research interests include: (i) the activation of small inorganic and organic molecules (ii) the chemistry of transition-metal include Green Chemistry and homogenous catalysis transformations. Dr. HAMDI has more than 70 publications in peer-reviewed international journals along with book contributions (with more than 1000 citations).




Dr. He obtained a doctorate in Chemistry from Nankai University. Currently Dr. He is a Professor of Chemistry at Nankai University, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Prof. He has authored over 190 scientific publications and held 21 patents. He edited 12 books and chapters (ACS book series, John Wiley & Sons, Springer, Elsevier,CRC Press Taylor @ Francis), delivered more than 60 invited lectures at international conferences. He is a Series Editor of “Green Chemistry and Sustainable Technology”, editor-in chief of “Current Organic Synthesis” and on the editorial board of a dozens of international scientific journals.




Dr. Zhiwei Huang was born in 1982 in Hubei Province, China. He received his PhD in Physical Chemistry from the State Key Laboratory for Oxo Synthesis and Selective Oxidation at the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS in 2010 and subsequently became an Assistant Professor at the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics. In 2012, he became an associate professor of Physical Chemistry at the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics. He was a visiting scholar at Peking University during 2011-2012 and at University of Wisconsin-Madison during 2016-2017. His is a member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association, CAS.







Dr. Theophilos Ioannides obtained PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Patras, Patras, Greece in 1991. He is presently serving as a Research Director at FORTH/ICE-HT, Patras, Greece. His research interest is in Heterogeneous Catalysts, Catalytic Processes, New materials and Assessment of new energy technologies. He has contributed more than 80 publications, having citations around 4,858. He is also professionally affiliated Technical Chamber of Greece, Association of Greek Chemical Engineers, Association of Greek Researchers, Hellenic Catalysis Society, and Member of Scientific Council of FORTH/ICE-HT.




Dr. Guiyuan Jiang received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemical engineering from China University of Petroleum, Beijing and PhD degree from the Institue of chemisty, Chinese academy of Sciences. He joined Univeristy of Petroleum, Beijing in 2006, and now he is a professor in chemical engineering. He was a visiting postdoctor at the Univerity of california, Riverside in 2010, and visiting scholar in Tsinghua University in 2013-2014. His research is focused on enengy catalysis, including catalytic conversion of light hydrocarbons and artificial photosynthesis. He has published more than 100 scientific publications.




Prof. Jiang obtained his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at Leibniz University of Hannover (Germany). After his postdoctoral stay at Max Planck Institute for Coal Research (Germany), he joined as a full professor Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology, Chinese Academy of Science (QIBEBT, CAS). Prof. Jiang is the recipient of Thousand Talents Program for Distinguished Young Scholars. His main research interest focuses on the functional materials with nanostructures and their application in separation and catalysis.




Dr. Jizhou Jiang, Distinguished Professor, Wuhan Institute of Technology (China). Ph.D. Huazhong University of Science and Technology (China). He is a Research Fellow in National University of Singapore (NUS) and a visiting scholar, Nanyang Technological University (NTU).







Professor Dmitry Yu. Murzin studied chemical engineering from the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology in Moscow, USSR (1980-1986) and graduated with honors. He obtained his PhD (advisor Prof. M.I. Temkin) and DrSc degrees from Karpov Physico-Chemical Institute, Moscow in 1989 and 1999, respectively. After postdoc stays in France and Finland (1992-1994), he worked at BASF from 1995 to 2000. Since 2000, Prof. Murzin holds the Borgström Chair of Chemical Technology at Åbo Akademi University, Turku, Finland. He is an elected member of Academia Europaea and the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters.



Dr. Frédéric Lefebvre received the Agrégation in Chemistry in 1979. He worked first in the field of heteropolyanions with Prof. Hervé at the University of Paris VI. He was hired by CNRS and joined the Institut de Recherches sur la Catalyse at Villeurbanne in 1981 where he received his PhD in 1985. He joined then the group of Dr. Basset at CPE Lyon. He is actually in charge of the solid-state NMR and is working on Surface Organometallic Chemistry and polyoxometalates. He has published more than 300 papers and 10 patents.




Prof. Hexing Li got doctor degree in Chemistry from Fudan University. Now, he is working as a professor of Chemistry and a Director of Chinese Education Ministry Joint International Research Laboratory of Resource Chemistry. His research interest is environmental catalysis. Up to now, more than 200 papers and 8 books have been published. Besides, 41 patents have been authorized. Besides the Current Catalysis, he is also an Associated Editor of Appl. Catal. B Environ.






Dr. F. Luo received Ph. D. in Inorganic Chemistry from NanKai University, China. Currently, he is a Professor of Nuclear Chemistry at the East China University of Technology, Nanchang, China. His research interests focus on 1) designing new MOFs and COFs as catalyst for advanced catalysis involved in organic catalysis, electro-catalysis, and photocatalysis; 2) designing new MOFs and COFs for gas separation; 3) designing new MOFs and COFs for removal of radionuclides. Prof. Luo has published more than 210 articles in well-reputed journals.



Dr. Ma is a Professor of Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, Fudan University. He has been working on heterogeneous catalysis, environmental catalysis, and nanocatalysis for 18 years. He got a Ph.D. from University of California, Riverside. Dr. Ma has authored 108 journal publications, 10 book chapters, and over 100 popular articles on newspapers/magazines. He is also a reviewer of over 70 journals and an Editorial Board Member of 5 journals.




Dr. Ghasem Marandi was born in 1973 (Iran) and received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from P.N. University in 1999. To complete M.S. degree in Organic Chemistry, he attached to University of Sistan and Baluchestan in 2002. He earned his Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry in 2009. He started his researches as assistant professor by joining to science faculty of Urmia University in 2011. Now, he continues his researches on interesting fields (synthesis and methodology) in faculty of chemistry and is coauthor of more than 50 paper which have been published on chemistry journals.




Dr. Ioan-Cezar MARCU received his BSc in Chemistry and Physics in 1995 and his MSc in Catalysis in 1996 at the University of Bucharest, Romania. In 2002 he received his PhD in Catalysis from the University “Claude Bernard” Lyon 1, France, and in 2013 he obtained its Habilitation in Chemistry. He was awarded the Young Scientist Prize of International Association of Catalysis Societies in 2004. Starting from 2005 he is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Bucharest. His research interests cover the field of catalysis by metal oxides, and he published a book chapter and more than 50 research papers.




Dr. Antonio Massa is currently an Associate Professor in Organic Chemistry at Department of Chemistry and Biology of University of Salerno Italy. He is an author of more than 70 publications on asymmetry catalysis and on the synthesis of bioactive compounds. He is also principal investigator of joint research projects with pharmaceutical companies.




Dr. Francesco Mauriello obtained his Ph.D. degree (in 2008) in Industrial Chemistry from University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy. Presently, he is employed as Assistant Professor at Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria, Italy. His research activities/interests lie in the field of green chemistry, with particular emphasis on the valorization of biomass derived molecules through the catalytic C-O and C-C bond breaking, via hydrogenolysis and transfer hydrogenolysis reactions, promoted by heterogeneous Pd-based catalysts. Dr. Mauriello has published over 35 manuscripts and his documents have received citations greater than 455.








Dr. Zeeshan Nawaz received his Bachelor and Master degree’s with distinction in Chemical Engineering from MUET Jamshoro (2003) and UET Lahore (2006), respectively. Later he earned his Doctorate of Engineering (PhD) in Chemical Engineering & Technology in 2010 from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. He was engaged in number of process design assignments at Chemical Process & Plant Design Center, Islamabad (2005-2011). During his PhD studies, he worked at Beijing Key Laboratory for Green Chemical Reaction Engineering & Technology (FLOTU), on catalyst design and fluidization engineering. He won many awards and scholarships in his carrier, the most recant are Best Researcher Award of Tsinghua University 2009, Young Scientist Award (Chemistry-2011) by NAYS and SABIC Technology Development Award in 2015. He is working with SABIC Technology & innovation as Staff Scientist since 2011 and involved in the high fidelity reactor modeling, reactor design (fixed and fluidized bed), catalysis synthesis and various technology development activities. He has experience with commercial olefins related technologies, like light alkane dehydrogenation, ethylene oxide, MTBE, syngas conversion technologies, feedstock upgradation, isomerization, acetylene hydrogenation, fixed bed and fluidized bed reactors, etc. Dr. Zeeshan has published more than 80 publications including research papers, book chapter, communications, reviews, conference papers, technical notes, etc. and about 30 international patents. At the same time, he is also member of editorial boards for various reputed research journals of chemical engineering and member of professional bodies/institutions.







Dr. Ali Niazi obtained BSc in 1998 (Applied Chemistry), Islamic Azad University (Tehran) Iran and in 2001, he obtained MSc (Analytical Chemistry) and PhD from Razi University (Kermanshah) Iran. Currently, he is a professor of Analytical Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, Islamic Azad University of Central Tehran Branch, Iran. His research areas are Analytical Chemistry, Chemometrics, Catalyst and Nanochemistry. He has published 141 papers and 10 books.




Dr. Ning obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Applied Chemistry from Tohoku University, Japan. Dr. Ning mainly studies on the catalysts for sustainable production of liquid fuel from non-petroleum source. He has published more than 80 scientific publications and is a named inventor of 3 issued China patents. His work has been applied by three companies for syn-fuel production.



Prof. Vasile I. Parvulescu received his PhD in Catalysis in 1986 at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest (Romania). After one year stage in the Petroleum Company Vega-Ploiesti (Romania) he moved in the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, Rare and Non-Ferrous Metals Bucharest (Romania) till 1991, when he joined the University of Bucharest, where become full professor in 1999. Meantime he received several fellowships: PECO and NATO fellows, Universite Catholique de Louvain, Belgium (1993, 1996), Alexander von Humboldt, Max Planck, Muelheim, Germany (1997). He is also invited Professor of a series of Universities: Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), Aachen (Germany), Lille (France), Toulouse (France), Quebec (Canada), Taywen (China), Toulouse (France), etc. He has over 30 years’ experience within the field of synthesis of catalysts, catalysts characterization, asymmetric, environmental, oxidation, plasma catalysis, etc. He authored more than 330 papers, 26 review papers and chapters, 7 books (Wiley, RSC, Elsevier, Romanian Academy), 27 patents. He was awarded with the Prize of the Romanian Academy of Sciences and „Grigore Moisil“ Award for exact sciences of the National Grand Lodge of Romania, and Proclaimed Knight of the National Order for Merits by the Romanian President. He serves as a President of the Romanian Catalytic Society and Secretary of the European Catalytic Society (2011-2015). In present he is Director of the Department of Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry and Catalysis and Director of the Research Centre of Catalysis and Catalytic Processes at University of Bucharest.



Dr. Gregory Patience holds a Canada Research Chair in high temperature, high pressure heterogeneous catalysis and is professor of Chemical Engineering at Polytechnique Montreal. He published two books – Experimental Methods and Instrumentation for Chemical Engineers and Communicate Science Papers, Presentations and Poster Effectively – filed 14 patents and published 120 scientific articles. Together with process development, his research focuses on catalysis and gas-solids. Prof. Patience started his career at DuPont in 1990. He helped develop fluidized bed catalyst in Delaware and joined the commercial team in 1996 in Spain. In 2000, he moved to Lycra® and managed the Fibres Technology Laboratory.

Reshak is Full Professor at Czech Technical University –Prague- CzechRepublic, Full Professor and Principal Research Fellow at Nanotechnology & Catalysis Research Center- Malaya University in KL, Malaysia. He is the winner of the Abdul Hameed Shoman Award. He is a Durham University senior fellow (UK)and Malaya University Principal Research fellow (Malaysia). Recently Prof. Dr.Eng. Ali H. Reshak had been awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Engineering fromthe University of Malaysia Perlis for his achievements in Sciences andTechnology. He is well recognized in the field of nanotechnology, Catalysis,Photocatalysis, solar cells, renewable energy, energy efficiency in builtenvironment, green energy and environment, electronic structure, linear,nonlinear optical properties and the other properties, rechargeable batteries,hybrid materials, alloys, biological crystals, Ionic liquid, SHG materials,single crystals, quantum electronics, optoelectronic materials and the devicesbased on them, bulk and low dimensional nanoscale materials such as nanotubes,nanowires, nonomaterials, Graphene, Graphane, Graphite and thin-films, novel multi-functional materials which can produce visible, ultraviolet and infra-red laserradiation at wavelengths that are presently inaccessible via conventionalsources for many industrial, medical, biological and entertainmentapplications, laser design and laser applications, microscopy and spectroscopy.




Dr. J.L. Rico received his PhD in Chemical Engineering in 1989 from the Slovak Technical University, under the supervision of P. Rajniak and J. Ilavsky. He was a postdoctoral research fellow with R. Prins at ETH Zurich; a research fellow with M. Ichikawa at the Hokkaido University; a research fellow with E. Derouane at the University of Liverpool, and an honorary research fellow with J. Hargreaves in 2010 and 2016 at the University of Glasgow. He is actually a member of the Department of Chemical Engineering, at Michoacan University, Mexico.



Dr. Submal Saba (Ph.D.), Assistant professor of Organic Chemistry at CCNH, Federal University of ABC-UFBC, Brazil. In the past, she severed as Assistant professor of Organic Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar-Pakistan. Dr. Chanatip Samart is currently an Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology, Thammasat University and. He received his B.Sc. degree in Industrial Chemistry from King Mongkut Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL). Later, he received his Master and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering, from Kasetsart University. He was appointed as a lecturer in Department of Chemistry, Thammasat University in the year 2006. He became deputy Dean and Head of Chemistry Department in year 2009 and 2012, respectively. His research interest is biomass conversion, catalysis and surface modification.




Professor Seçen is a member of Turkish Chemistry Society. He completed his doctoral studies in 1990. In his research in organic chemistry, he worked on total synthesis of natural products, the development of biologically active drug molecules and organic reaction mechanisms. He has authored more than 70 scientific papers. Dr. Gustavo Seoane graduated as Chemical Engineer from Universidad de la República, Uruguay, and then earned a doctorate (PhD) in Chemistry from Virginia Tech, USA. Since 1989, he is working at Universidad de la República, Uruguay, where he is currently full professor of Organic Chemistry, and also Head of the Organic Chemistry Department since 2002. He co-authored a book -Redox Biocatalysis. He has contributed more than 100 scientific papers and three book chapters. His main scientific interest is the use of green catalytic procedures for the synthesis of bioactive natural products and analogs.




Dr. Surendra Singh obtained PhD from Central Salt & Marine Chemical Research Institute Bhanvangar, Gujrat in 2006. He is presently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry University of Delhi, India. His areas of specialization are Organic Chemistry, Asymmetric Catalysis, Synthesis of biological important molecules and Synthetic methodology development. Dr. Jafar Soltan is a professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan (Saskatoon SK, Canada). He has obtained his BSc (Petroleum University of Technology, Iran, 1987), MSc (Shiraz University, Iran, 1992) and PhD (University of British Columbia, Canada, 1998) in chemical engineering. He has worked in industry and academia on methane conversion processes, natural gas utilization and environmental catalysis. His current research involves developing catalysts and processes for degradation of emerging pollutants in water and wastewater, adsorption of CO2 and low temperature oxidation of volatile organic compounds in air.




Dr. Branko Stanovnik is a professor at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. He was born in 1938 in Brezovica, Slovenia. He obtained a Diploma in chemistry in 1960 and received his Ph. D degree in organic chemistry at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia in 1964, becoming Assistant Professor in the same year, Associate Professor in 1967, and Professor in 1972. He carried out his Postdoctorate between 1964 and 1965 at the National Research Council of Canada. From 1974 to 1976 he was a visiting Professor at the University of Indiana (USA)



Dr. Suib received his doctorate degree in Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He is a coauthor if over 600 peer reviewed journal articles. He is a co-inventor on over 50 patents. His research interests are Solid state inorganic chemistry including studies of zeolites and microporous materials; physical chemistry; environmental chemistry including green syntheses, heterogeneous catalysis; plasma chemistry and catalysis; semiconductors; inorganic photochemistry; photocatalysis; batteries; ceramics. Preparation and characterization of these systems using structural, crystallographic, surface, electrochemical, luminescence, microscopic and EPR techniques.



Dr. Xiangcheng Sun obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, focusing on fluorescence based explosives sensing. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California Santa Barbara, working on heterogeneous catalysis on selective depolymerization. Before that Dr, Sun did postdoctoral research on single-molecule imaging of living polymerization catalysis at the Cornell University.




Dr. Yinyong Sun received his B.S. and Ph.D. (2004) in Department of Chemistry at Jilin University, China. Then, he worked at University of Strasbourg in France, Pohang University of Science and Technology, and Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Switzerland for his postdoctoral work from 2004 to 2008. In 2009, he as an Associate Professor joined School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, China. He is interested in synthesis and applications of porous materials including zeolites, mesoporous silica materials and metal-organic frameworks.






Dr. Hoang Vinh Tran is a lecturer/researcher at School of Chemical Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Vietnam. He obtained his PhD. from University Diderot – Paris 7, France in 2013. His research interests include nanomaterials, nanocomposites, hybrid materials and chemosensors and biosensors for environmental screening and clinical diagnosis. He has published around 40 papers in different international journals or presented at conferences.




Dr. S. Velmathi received her PhD degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Madras. Currently, she is an Associate Professor in Department of Chemistry (Organic and Polymer Synthesis Laboratory), National Institute of Technology, Trichy. She holds visiting professorship in institutes like AIST, National Institute of Materials Science (NIMS) Japan, Dong A University, Busan, South Korea, National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan and University of Connecticut USA. Received the prestigious Tamil Nadu Young Women Scientist Award-2012 for Chemical Sciences. Also selected to receive the INSA Bilateral Exchange Fellowship-2015. She is an elected Fellow of Tamil Nadu Academy of Sciences, Chennai.



Dr Akula Venugopal is currently working as a Principal Scientist at CSIR-IICT, India. He has obtained Ph D from IICT (OU) in 1998. Dr Akula has visited several countries on various research projects namely Russia, South Korea, Germany, USA, Brazil, Australia and South Africa and worked on CO conversion processes e.g. PROX, LT-WGSR, Syngas to DME and Photocatalytic H2O splitting. Dr Venugopal received the prestigious Raman Research Fellowship and worked at Purdue University and also worked as a Brainpool Research Fellow at the Hydrogen Research Center, KIST, Seoul.



B.Viswanathan was a faculty in the department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras since 1970 and since 2006 the head of the National Centre for catalysis Research at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. His areas of research include, Heterogeneous Catalysis, Electrochemistry, Solid state Chemistry and theoretical chemistry. He has over 600 publications , about 35 books published by various international and national publishers and has an equal number of patents to his name. He is in the editorial board of a number of journals and is the editor in chief of the Bulletin of the catalysis Society of India.




Dr. Georgios C. Vougioukalakis was born on Crete, Greece, in 1976 and received his B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Crete in 1999. In 2004, he completed his Ph.D. at the same university. During his graduate studies he spent short periods of time at the University of Sussex and Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche in Bologna. In 2005 he moved as a Marie Curie Fellow to the California Institute of Technology where he worked for two years. Following another year of postdoctoral studies at the University of Athens, he joined the National Centre of Scientific Research "Demokritos".




Dr. Chengming Wang is an Associate professor of Chemistry at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), a PI of Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at the Microscale (HFNL), and also the responsible person of the laboratory for infrared spectroscopy and electrochemistry applications at the HFNL and USTC. He received a Ph.D. degree from University of Science and Technology of China. Dr. Wang is now focusing on the design, synthesis & assembly of metal nanostructures & functional nanomaterials, electrocatalysis & photocatalysis, spectroscopy & electro-biochemistry sensor, and has authored over 100 scientific publications in prestigious journals.




Dr. Jerry Wu was born in 1966 in Taitung, Taiwan. He received his bachelor degree in 1989 from the Department of Environmental Engineering in National Cheng Kung University and master degree in 1991 from the Graduate Institute of Environmental Engineering in National Taiwan University, Taiwan. He obtained his Ph.D from the Michigan State University, USA. He is an editorial board member of American Journal of Environmental Engineering and Frontiers in Environmental Engineering. He is currently a distinguished professor at Feng Chia University in Taiwan, where he was promoted from being assistant professor and associate professor.







Dr. Tieqi Xu, Science Doctor, now is an Associate professor of Dalian University of Technology. He got his Doctor's degree (PhD) at Jilin University in 2007. He was Vising Research Fellow at Colorado State University. From 2007, he is a Leader of a research group at Dalian University of Technology. Currently Dr. Tieqi Xu’ researches focus on the regioselective and stereoselective polymerization of polar vinyl monomer.



Dr. Zhong-Yong Yuan is a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He received his PhD degree from Nankai University in 1999. After his postdoctoral research at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, he joined the Laboratory of Inorganic Materials Chemistry at the University of Namur, Belgium in 2001. In 2005, he was appointed Professor in Nankai University. In 2006, he was awarded the “Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University” by the Ministry of Education. He is currently serving as an Associate Editor of RSC Advances. His research interests are mainly focused on the self-assembly of hierarchically nanoporous and nanostructured materials for energy and environmental applications.



Heng Zhang received his B.Sc. degree from Changshu Institute of Technology, and then obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees on catalytic conversion of biomass into renewable chemicals and biofuels with functional catalytic nanomaterials, under the supervision of Prof. Song Yang (Guizhou University, China) and Prof. Chunbao (Charles) Xu (Western University, Canada). He has co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed papers on heterogeneous catalysis for biomass valorization. Currently, he is Senior Researcher at Guizhou University, Bentham Ambassador of Bentham Science Publishers, Review Editor of Frontiers in Energy Research, and Guest Editor of Advances in Polymer Technology.








Dr. Zhang received his PhD degree in inorganic chemistry from Northeast Normal University. He was a iCHEM fellow at Xiamen University, and a visiting scholar at University of Chicago. In 2016, he joined Institute of New Energy Materials & Low Carbon Technology of Tianjin University of Technology, where he is currently an professor of chemistry. He has authored over 100 scientific publications with H factor 28. Zhang’s interests are to develop polyoxometalate and MOF-based molecular catalysts for water splitting and CO2 reduction.



Dr. Chengzhou Zhu is currently an Assistant Research Professor at School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, Washington State University. He did PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China in 2014. Dr. Zhu’s research interest includes Nanochemistry for carbon and metal-based nanomaterials, Nanoelectrochemistry, bioelectrochemistry, nanoelectroanalytical Chemistry, Electrochemical energy storage and conversion (fuel cells, supercapacitors and lithium sulfur batteries), water splitting and photocatalysis and Nanomaterials-based analytical sensors. He has 106 journal publications and 1 book chapter to his credit.



Dr. A. Akbari was born in 1981 in Naghadeh, Iran, he received his PhD degree in chemistry at the interface of material science from the Tabriz University. He had two sabbatical leave at the University of Massachusetts (Prof. Vincent Rotello research group) and at the University of South Carolina (Prof. Esmaiel Jabbari research group). He has supported by INSF for two years as a PDF at the University of Maragheh. His research interests focus on the synthesis and application of hybrid nanomaterials in catalysis, drug delivery and water remediation.




Dr. Ramaraju Bendi received his Bachelor Degree, Master Degree and Ph.D. from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India in 2004, 2006 and 2011, respectively. After his PhD he did several post docs (IIT Hyd 1.7years, NTUST, Taiwan 1 year, NTNU, Taiwan 1 year and NTU Singapore 3 years). He joined as an Associate professor in Aditya Institute of Technology and Management in 2018. His research work includes the Nanomaterials for Energy, Environmental and Electronics applications, Non-thermal Plasma assisted Energy and Environmental applications, Carbon materials, heterogeneous catalysis and Photocatalysis.




Dr. Abolfazl obtained PhD in inorganic Chemistry from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. He has been serving as an Associate Professor at Department of Chemistry in the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, Iran. His areas of expertise are in Inorganic compounds synthesis, Schiff base complexes, nanocatalysts, Electrocatalytic activity, Antibacterial and anti-cancer activity of metal complexes, Catalytic study of inorganic compounds, Single molecule magnets. He is also recognized with awards and honors such as Best PhD student, Sharif University of Technology, 2007, and Awarded Best Teaching prize for Professors, Faculty of Science, 2008, University of Mohaghegh.




Dr. Saeid Taghavi Fardood received his M.Sc. degree under the supervision of Professor Gholamhassan Imanzadeh in Organic Chemistry from University of Mohaghegh Ardabili in 2011. Also, he obtained his Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Professor Ali Ramazani in Organic Chemistry from University of Zanjan in 2017. He is currently working as a researcher in chemistry at the University of Zanjan. His research interests include green synthesis of nanomaterial as photocatalysts for wastewater treatment, and application of heterogeneous nano-catalysts in multicomponent synthesis. He has published more than 35 international refereed journal papers. Moreover, he is reviewer in his area of research for several international journals.








Dr. Biswajit Panda is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry, City College, Kolkata-700009, under University of Calcutta. He was awarded his Ph.D degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IITKGP), India. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei, Taiwan. He is associated with teaching organic chemistry for post-graduate, graduate and undergraduate students for a number of years. His research interests are development of organic methodology in the fields of organic synthesis and transition metal catalysis. He is the inventor of Sonogashira Coupling of arene diazonium salts. He is the recipient of Best Cited Author Award from Tetrahedron Letter. He is the recipient of “Bharat Gaurav Award” from India International Friendship Society. He has published several research contributions to international journals, proceedings, books, book chapters, and international conferences. He is a reviewer and editorial board member in several international journals in chemistry.




Dr. Varun Rawat received his M.Sc. Chemistry degree from University of Delhi and Ph.D. from CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (with Dr. A. Sudalai). He then joined the group of Prof. Arkadi Vigalok as PBC postdoctoral fellow, where he worked on calixarene based complexes. He is presently an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in Amity School of Applied Sciences, Amity University Haryana, India. His research interest includes synthesis and application of calixarene based chemosensors and catalysts.




Dr. Dai-Viet N. Vo received his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia under the supervision of Prof. Adesoji A. Adesina in 2011. After working as a postdoctoral fellow at UNSW and Texas A&M University at Qatar, he joined as a Senior Lecturer at Faculty of Chemical & Natural Resources Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia in 2013. He is the author of 2 books, 4 book chapters, 65 peer-reviewed journals and 80 conference proceedings. He is also the Editorial Board Member of Heliyon (Elsevier), SN Applied Sciences (Springer) and PLOS ONE.




Dr. Deniz Yildirim is an Associate Professor of Biochemistry at Cukurova University, Turkey. He received his PhD. in biochemistry from City University of Cukurova in 2010. His current research interest is enzyme immobilization, enzyme purification and enzyme-catalyzed synthesis of enantiopure compounds. Dr. Yildirim has numerous honors, awards and publications to his credit.
