This is an interdisciplinary exercise that encompasses geography, chemistry,
health care and touches on a number of other topics (geology, agriculture, etc.).
Students will examine the location of a country and its natural resources that can be
related to some facet of the chemical industry. Students correlate the development of the
chemical industry with life expectancy.
