This Chapter looks at tools and packages for programming that support green computing projects. It covers Safety- Critical Java, plagiarism detection, performance evaluation, Java-based tools for VoIP monitoring and data mining, the chapter underlines how these instruments help to support effective and environmentally friendly software development. Promotion of green computing depends on Java-based programming tools and packages.
