Abstract

Piezoelectric energy harvesting is a promising technology; basically, this technology is used to convert ambient waste energy into usable electrical energy. This technique is typically employed to transform diffuse wasted energy into usable electrical energy. For energy harvesting applications, polymeric piezoelectric composites are regarded as a key study area because they provide the convenience of mechanical flexibility. The nature of the piezoelectric phenomena, the fundamental theory underlying Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting (PEH) devices, and the configuration used to fabricate PEH are explained at the outset.
