This chapter overviews the Kawa Model as developed by Michael Iwama
and colleagues. It starts off with some insights into a conversation with Dr Iwama
following a chance meeting with the author in 2006. This chapter then explores model
concepts and ends with an exploration of how the Kawa Model may be utilized in
practice.
