Abstract

As the global population continues to expand, the demand for food production is reaching unprecedented levels, while agricultural resources face increasing constraints. Precision agriculture, empowered by cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), presents a promising solution to address these challenges. This chapter explores the integration of AI techniques, including machine learning, computer vision, and data analytics, into precision agriculture practices. It examines how AI-driven insights enable farmers to optimize resource allocation, enhance crop yields, minimize environmental impact, and mitigate risks associated with climate variability. Furthermore, the chapter discusses real-world case studies and emerging trends in AI applications for precision agriculture, highlighting their potential to contribute significantly to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 2 - Zero Hunger.
