The accumulation of plant biomass in plants is regulated by two factors – genomes and plant growth
regulating system. Hormones as growth regulating factors are located in different zones of plant organisms. They
have specific effects in plant bodies like auxins (roots induction), gibberellins (stem elongation), cytokinins (cell
multiplications).
