The Patient ‘Journey’

This chapter describes the ups and downs of a ‘typical’ IVF treatment

cycle, but it must be noted that there may be many variations between what is

described below and what was described earlier in an actual treatment cycle. This is

because wherever possible, the best IVF clinics treat patients as individuals. This

means that the treatment is ideally customised for the patient and is not a generic recipe

which is simply repeated on everyone
