The Open Mineralogy Journal is an Open Access online journal, which publishes research articles, reviews, letters and guest edited single topic issues in all areas of mineralogy; including petrology, crystallography and geochemistry. The journal also covers mineral processing and extractive metallurgy e.g. the processing of metallic and non metallic ores.

The Open Mineralogy Journal, a peer-reviewed journal, aims to provide the most complete and reliable source of information on current developments in mineralogy. The emphasis will be on publishing quality papers rapidly and freely available to researchers worldwide.
