Hamid Mcheick

Dr. Hamid Mcheick is working as an associate professor in Computer Science department at the University of Québec at Chicoutimi, Canada. He has more than 20 years of experience in both academic and industrial area. He has done his PhD in Software Engineering and Distributed System in the University of Montreal, Canada. He is working on design and adaption of distributed and intelligent software application. He has supervised many post-doctorate, PhD, master and bachelor students. He has six book chapters, more than 26 research papers in international journals and 65 research papers in international/national conference proceedings in his credit. Dr. Mcheick has given many keynote speeches in his research area, particularly in Ubiquitous computing, Distributed Middleware, Software Connectors, Service Oriented Computing and Cloud Computing. He is a chief in editor, chair, co-chair, reviewer, member in many organizations (IEEE, ACM, Springer, Inderscience) around the world.

Evangelos Sapountzakis

Dr. Evangelos Sapountzakis is Civil Engineer, Professor at the Institute of Structural Analysis and Antiseismic Research of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Diploma from NTUA (1984), MSc and DIC degrees from Imperial College, London (1985), PhD degree from NTUA (1991). Apart from NTUA, he is also Professor of Structural Analysis at the School of Corps of Engineers of the Hellenic Army and the Hellenic Open University. His published research comprises 105 original papers in international journals, 143 papers in international conference proceedings, 12 Chapters in books and 5 educational books, while he is the editor of 4 Books or Conference Proceedings. Honorary Editor, Editor-in-Chief, Academic Editor, Regional Editor and Associate Editor of international journals. He has extensive experience (30 years) in the design and analysis of bridge and other large scale structural projects.

Kalyanmoy Deb is Koenig Endowed Chair Professor at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in Michigan State University. Prof. Deb's research interests are in evolutionary optimization and their application in optimization, modeling, and machine learning. He has been a visiting professor at various universities across the world including IITs in India, Aalto University in Finland, University of Skovde in Sweden, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He was awarded Infosys Prize, TWAS Prize in Engineering Sciences, CajAstur Mamdani Prize, Distinguished Alumni Award from IIT Kharagpur, Edgeworth-Pareto award, Bhatnagar Prize in Engineering Sciences, and Bessel Research award from Germany. He is fellow of IEEE, ASME, and three Indian science and engineering academies. He has published over 440 research papers with Google Scholar citation of over 91,000 with h-index 100. Joshua Fogel, PhD, is a full Professor with tenure in the Department of Business Management at Brooklyn College (Brooklyn, New York). S.H. Huang

Samuel H. Huang is Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Director of Intelligent Systems Laboratory at the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, the University of Cincinnati. His research focuses on big data analytics, supplier-based manufacturing, and complex system analysis and optimization, with applications in health care and manufacturing. He has published over 130 technical papers. Dr. Huang received the Robert A. Dougherty Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) in 2005. In addition to many industrial projects, he has been awarded five grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for his research in health care and manufacturing research and education.

Dr. Sherif Sakr is an Academic, Scientific Researcher, Technical Consultant and Author. He received his PhD degree in Computer and Information Science from Konstanz University, Germany in 2007. Dr. Ning Xi is Chair Professor of Robotics and Automation and Director of Emerging Technologies Institute of The University of Hong Kong. He has more than 25 years of experience in academic and research in robotics, manufacturing automation, micro/nano manufacturing, nano sensors and devices, and intelligent control and systems. Before joining The University of Hong Kong, he was a University Distinguished Professor, the John D. Dr Alex Zelinsky is Australia’s Chief Defence Scientist. His scientific career includes working as a computer scientist, a systems engineer and a roboticist. His career spans innovation, science and technology, research and development, commercial start-ups and education.

Prior to joining Defence, Dr Zelinsky was Group Executive for Information Sciences at the CSIRO. Dr Zelinsky was Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Seeing Machines, a high-technology company developing computer vision systems. The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange and was a start-up from the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia, where Dr Zelinsky was Professor of Systems Engineering.

Ouri Wolfson, Ph.D., is the Richard and Loan Hill Professor of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He is the founder of Mobitrac, a venture-funded high-tech startup that was acquired in 2006, and of Pirouette Software.
