eBooks can be downloaded in a matter of minutes. eBooks come in
all different sizes. Download times depend on both the size of the

When will I receive my eBook?
Once your payment transaction has been processed successfully our staff will contact you with-in 2 working days with accessing details (I.P or Username and Password) after which you will be able to access and/or download the ebook.

Authors could get free access of their own contents.
What happens to the eBook when I'm done reading it?
Since you owns the eBook, once you have read it you can store it

Acrobat Reader works well for all documents, while the
Acrobat eBook Reader is designed specifically for eBooks. The Acrobat
eBook Reader has all the functionality of the Acrobat Reader, plus
it has annotation and bookmarking capabilities as well as enhancements
such as display rotation for laptop computers and a built-in dictionary.
Can I print and copy my eBooks?
Bentham eBooks have their own established guidelines for fair usage
of published eBooks in order to protect copyrights such as that
how much of their eBooks can be printed or copied. These permissions
may differ from eBook to eBook. For example, some of the free eBooks
will have no restrictions on copying and printing, while in other
cases publisher might give users the ability to print/copy several
pages of an eBook within a set period of time.
Is there any provision of authors royalties?
Authors will receive royalties on eBook sales. Please contact Bentham’s
representative for further detailed explanation of how royalties
are allocated.
Who owns the eBook copyright?
Bentham Science own eBook copyright. Please contact your Bentham
Science Editor for more information with respect to the copyright
of your works.
How does one search for a Bentham eBook?

or you could use search titles via the search facility available
on the eBook website. Search can be made either on entire eBook
or a chapter through title, ISBN, author/editor, discipline and
type of eBook via a search tool.
Can more than one person at a time access the same eBook?
Yes, it is possible via the BenthamDirect.
How long can one use an eBook?
There is no time limit on access to purchased content.
Can pages from an eBook be printed or saved?
eBooks can be saved as PDF’s on a user's computer which can
be printed for later use. Printing and saving material is subject
to fair use practices such that the copyright of the work is honored.
What is the pricing model for the eBook Collection?
Subscription prices vary for each published book depending on which
field of science or social sciences they belong to. Different promotional
and sales packages will be announced from time to time which can
be viewed in sales packages tab of the home page.
Does Bentham eBooks offer pay-per-view service?
Yes, there is a pay-per-view option available.
Are usage statistics for eBooks available? How do I obtain
usage statistics for eBooks?
Usage statistics are COUNTER compliant and available through
the Institutional Home for Bentham eBook on BenthamDirect. Statistics
for eBooks are similar to those for Bentham Science journals, e.g.
full text downloads by title by month.
Are book series included in the Bentham eBook Collections?
If yes, where can I get a list of book series per collection?
Yes, book series are included in each Bentham eBook Collection.

Are print copies of eBooks available?
Yes, ‘Print-on-Demand’ feature is available for eBooks. Now even a single copy can be provided; quantity discounts may apply for authors in certain cases. Please contact ebooksales@benthamscience.org for further information. At the time of placing an order, please bear in mind that order processing and delivery time may vary from 6-8 weeks after the receipt of payment, as in most cases, ready stock may not be available and your individual copy will need to be printed at the press.
